The story

Egg Harbor Township's Planning Board approved a plan to split three properties at 6211, 6215 and 6225 West Jersey Avenue into 56 lots. The board heard the application on August 17 and adopted its written resolution on September 21.

The plan has 24 lots for single family homes and 31 lots for duplexes with two homes each, 86 homes in all, plus one lot for a stormwater basin. It also includes driveways, curbs and sidewalks.

The board's approval to divide the land is preliminary, not final. In August we covered the application when it went before the board; this is the board's decision on it. The notice names no builder, prices or schedule.

The approval is recorded in a public notice of the board's September 21, 2026 resolution. Plans, permits and timing can change. Written by Justin Kelly, NJ Real Estate Broker-Salesperson, from the Egg Harbor Township Planning Board decision notice.
