The project
A roughly 134-acre site off Tilden Road and Myrtle Avenue planned for 180 homes, 144 of them market rate and 36 affordable rentals, after the township agreed to rezone it to settle the owner's objection.

West Deptford's Fourth Round Housing Element and Fair Share Plan, filed with the court, records the proposal under "Considered and Excluded Projects": the township discussed it with the developer and before its Mount Laurel subcommittee and township committee, and left the Farm Property out of the plan for now over site access, flooding and environmental constraints.

The township's letter to the court enclosing its March 2026 documentation moves the site into the plan. It records that the owner objected to the housing plan on August 29, 2025 under the mediation agreement, that the two have since entered an affordable housing agreement covering both of the owner's properties, and that the township agreed to modify its plan to 180 units with a 20 percent set-aside of 36 affordable.
